In view of the statement made by the Prime Minister on March 16th regarding social distancing, Botley Bridges has made the very hard decision to close all sessions with immediate effect.
We recognise that we are unable to control social distancing at Botley Bridges. Children love to play together and explore with their hands and mouths. Whilst we usually promote this exploration, we cannot control the risk of infection. Because of the nature of our work and the fact that families and children who attend our sessions are likely to also be in contact with vulnerable people in the community we believe that we should take this step.
We have also received the following statement from The Health Visiting Team:
In line with guidance on social distancing and COVID-19 all well baby clinics, early days groups and Baby Lunchbox sessions and other Health Visiting led groups across Oxfordshire are closed with immediate effect. If you have any questions or concerns please contact your Health visiting team direct or see the link below for up to date information on COVID 19. Please share widely, we thank you for your patience and understanding at this time.
We will continue to try and staff Botley Bridges remotely for the time being so if you need us, either contact us through messenger on the Facebook page or email coordinator@
If you have signed up to one of our upcoming courses, we will email you separately with more information.
