Once again, local residents spread some Christmas cheer to local families and households. Local residents donated both money and goods and 108 bags of Christmas goods (gifts and food items) were packed and delivered to households. Many folk volunteered to pack and deliver, and over 3 days St Peter and St Pauls Church hall became a packing and distribution centre.
Thank you to all who were involved and donated – there are too many to mention by name. Thanks to the Church who let us use the hall with no charge over the 3 days, and to the Lucy group who donated £500. This is the 4th year we have run this event and once again it really illustrates that our local area is full of folk who want to make a positive contribution to others.
